Palaeontology Online: Fossil Focus: Placodonts

This link is to a new article at Palaeontology Online providing an overview of Triassic marine placodonts. Palaeontology Online is a website sponsored by the Palaeontological Association (who publish the journal Palaeontology) featuring regular articles written by subject experts on all aspects of paleontology.

    It’s an overview of information on several different dinosaurs, appropriate upper elementary school children and adults alike. Plus there are beautiful 3D animations of each dinosaur it covers and more dinosaurs will be added as time goes on, too!

    The dinosaurs range from Triassic through Cretaceous, but there are definitely some late-Triassic ones in there!

    Anyway, I really hope you'll check it out when you get a chance.
